It's no big secret that I have a place in my heart for the charming Subaru 360.

Germany had the VW Beetle, France the 2CV, Italy the Fiat 500 - Japan had the Subaru 360. The Subaru was the one of the first Japanese cars that was built cheap enough that people in post WWII Japan could actually afford to buy one.

I happen to own a 1969 Subaru 360. Unfortunately I left it behind in Colorado when I moved to Savannah. I didn't have the time or money to bring it with me then.

However, I now have the time to do so. Just not the money.

My girlfriend, who is an excellent artist decided to set up a website to raise funds and to document our journey to get and bring back our little Subaru.
